the file must be saved in PDF format (up to version 1.6), we do not accept editable files
the bitmap resolution should fall between 300 and 360 dpi
all fonts should be either converted to italics or attached
the minimum font size is 5 pt.
the file should have all links and graphics embedded
the project’s net format, i.e. the trimbox, must comply with the size listed in the order
the background and all objects adjoining to the edge should be moved to the drop beyond the edge. There should be 1 mm drops per page (bleedbox)
the inside margin constituting safe area should be at 2 mm (from the cutting edge)
the file should not include printer’s marks (colour blocks, cutting marks, registration marks, etc.)
the punch die outline should be saved in a separate top layer of the document defined as additional colour CutContour with overprint attribute on. If there is no punch die, it will be added automatically according to the net size of the project with 2 mm corner rounding.
if transparent or metallic material require white underprint, it should be added in form of a mask filled with the additional colour named White_ink in an additional layer placed on top of the print layer with overprint fill on.
for black, small text elements and barcodes should be prepared as 100%K with no other colour components and the overprint attribute off.
barcodes should be in form of vectors in colour 100%K (100% black) to prevent code scanning problems.
Cut lines, TrimBox
CMYK colour model (all of product besides cutter colour and white underprint)
no embedded colour profiles
additional appearing colours like PANTONE must be converted to CMYK colours. When the project includes additional colours, they will be automatically converted to the CMYK colour model
PROVIDING THE FILE FOR PRINTING
NAMING: the files should be named in a uniform manner allowing for unquestionable identification. File names must be in English or Polish with no Polish diacritics.
SENDING FILES: the files should be uploaded during adding product to the cart. You can also send the files to the following e-mail address: email@example.com
CMYK – model of the four basis printing inks, which are used in various combinations in basic proportions between 0 and 100% to receive the desired output colours. The basic inks subject to mixing are cyan – a shade of blue, magenta – similar to fuchsia, crimson, and amaranth, yellow – a shade of yellow, and black or key colour – a less-than-deep shade of black. CMYK is one of the colour spaces in computer graphics.
TrimBox – invisible container determining the clipping cut-off lines, which should reflect the project’s net format.
BleedBox – clipping area – this is the printed area of the sheet for printing spreading beyond the edge of the final project and rejected by cut off. It guarantees that the printed area will spread to the edges after being cut out.
Safe area – area near project edges, which should be free from any important elements like text, logos, notes, etc.
Overprint – function allowing for printing colour ink on a colourful background devoid of said colour. When the overprint attribute is on, it prevents development of a white shadow
Font – set of fonts saved in electronic format.
